NFP Shearing started in 2007 by Neil Parsons. After completing a 4 year HND in Farm Management, including a work placement on the Isle of White which earned him a Silver award from the British Wool Board. He then spent 6 months shearing in Dannevirke, New Zealand. On his return he started NFP Shearing
NFP Shearing covers a large part of Southern England including farms, small holdings and pets in Kent, Sussex, Surrey, Essex, London, Hampshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamsire and Hertfordshire.

Neil loves animals, he has always been passionate about Sheep, he loves their individual personalities. He can recognise one particular sheep in a flock of 200. All aspects of working with sheep interest him from commercial to pets. There are over 60 breeds of sheep in the UK alone, that is not including the different cross breeds. His favourite sheep are Aberfields and Romney , as his grandad use to farm them.
Working with sheep is challenging but rewarding, he particularly enjoys educating people who are new to owning sheep, guiding them on housing, nutrition and general welfare
It is not rare to hear Neil talking or singing to the sheep while he works !
